Varying from working on the rollercoasters and amusement rides, helping the technical team, to being responsible for the creation of the first (and consecutive) Halloween events.

  For my Internship with Rademaker in Culemborg I was responsible for setting up the use of SolidWorks Simulation FEA strength analysis in the company and developing a methodology and manual for implementation of the software.

  Electric Vehicle Mechanical Lead

  In this extracurricular honours programme I was responsible for the mechanical engineering of the TeamAntarctica electric solar vehicle. A project which was the brainchild of professional adventurer Wilco van Rooijen. My task consisted of strength and dynamics analysis and engineering work on the chassis and drive chain as well as connecting with suppliers and sponsors.

  I performed a variety of different engineering work in industrial food processing equipment. i.e. mechanical project engineering, availing in the transition process to the SAP PDM ERP system, development of prototype modular production line configurator (AR/VR) as bridge between engineering and business development teams.

  Rollercoaster Systems Engineer

  Responsible for the design, development, calculation, testing of track side mechanical equipment systems for roller coaster rides. (e.g. (magnetic) brake systems, launch cooling systems). This was all done with safety, reliability and redundancy as the most important design parameter.
