  I worked with the lead biologist to complete a biological survey and take inventory of all herpetological and amphibian resources within the park. We were also responsible for the creation and maintenance of all trapping sites within the park, and creating a detailed inventory of the health of all animals captured.

  I worked within the utilities department of the city to promote their Social Superstars and Climate Wise program. These programs are designed to help local businesses to operate more sustainably. I was in charge of recruiting local businesses to participate and help them along the reporting process. This included the creation of sustainability initiatives such as switching to more efficient lighting, tracking their waste disposal or sourcing more local ingredients.

  My main responsibility was evaluating current clean energy policies and how they can be applied within other states, and how that policy could benefit the state. I also contacted local energy suppliers, clean energy providers and leaders within the industry for support and participation in Center for the New Energy Economy events, such as the yearly Clean Energy Symposium held at Colorado State University.A large part of this was outreach to energy providers within the western states for feedback and attendance on local meetings to discuss the future of clean energy.
