May 2006 - Jun 2011• Responsible for monitoring performance and capacity for the entire company’s Windows server environment, which consists of approximately 800 servers including 3 CITRIX farms. Daily activity includes monitoring performance using Perceive and Visualizer and building capacity reports for Management using Surveyor.• Backup resource for mainframe performance monitoring, utilizing many home grown programs and SIRMON.• Recently completed three training courses: BMC Performance Assurance (MS Windows Console), Managing a MS Windows Server 2003 Environment and Maintaining a MS Windows Server 2003 Environment.• Additional responsibility includes serving as a Facilitator for high severity IT issues impacting the movement of freight and customer interfaces. This role involves escalating within IT, contacting vendors when necessary, notification to customers, proper documentation against corresponding SLA and ensuring progress is being made to a resolution.
