  Starting in 2011 as a Graduate with FMG (the world's 3rd largest iron miner), over the course of 3 years and owing to consistently delivering assets successfully, I was relied upon to deliver ever-more business critical projects of greater complexity and value. During a period of 300% company expansion, I operated within many teams and business functions, delivering projects varying greatly in discipline, asset, and scale to meet the company's ambitious goals:I held complete project management responsibility for the US$18M construction of 2 x heavy vehicle (300t Gross Vehicle Mass) overpasses of the live ore conveyor. A project critical to increasing the mine’s efficiency and with high criticality due to the proximity of the mine’s revenue stream, I delivered the project safely, on time and under budget to the degree that our project group were sought after to execute more projects:Disciplines: Civil and Earthworks; Reinforced and Precast Concrete; E&I;Core Skills Employed: Brownfield project execution; Waterfall PMBoK delivery; Client Liaising; Design Team management, Contractor and Supply Chain management;Delivered project remotely from Needs Identification through complete lifecycle;Fully scoped, estimated, planned and cost controlled the project;Produced all Scopes of Work and Technical Documents including Risk Assessments;Tendered, negotiated, awarded and managed all contracts and procurement packages;Coordinated and managed the project team of Engineering and Design Team, cost control, planning, procurement, sub-contractors and site management teams;Coordinated the 1200km site mobilisation to the remote site;Engaged with all stakeholders including, client, operations/asset owners and contractors throughout;Project completed with zero incidents, on budget and with zero impact to the conveyor operation; Show less Core team member tasked with adding 20Mtpa (30%) to the flagship mine’s capacity, I was individually responsible for undertaking concept development, scoping and managing the multi-discipline engineering & design and construction of the brownfield project’s ore processing plants and support infrastructure:Disciplines: Civil and Earthworks; Reinforced Concrete; E&I; Mechanical and; Piping;Core Skills Employed: Concept and feasibility studies; Brownfield projects; Waterfall PMBoK delivery; Design Team management, Contractor and Supply Chain management; Managing External Approvals;Tendered, negotiated, awarded and managed engineering and construction contracts(ors) for the civil scope of OPFs and materials handling plants and support infrastructure (civil, water and tailings) to the value of US$15M;Developed the Basis of Design and concept study incl. consultation with stakeholders and expert consultants;Scoped and produced the budget estimation of civil, structural and infrastructure scopes ($40M);Developed the forecast estimates & 3rd Party Negotiation Terms of Reference for FMG’s new mine and railway;Managed consultants’ generation of government approvals & terms of reference reports;This project has provided me with unparalleled experience of concept development and scoping of a large scale (~US$300M) brownfield project; Show less Site based on a US$1Bn greenfield project to construct two OPFs of 60Mtpa capacity; As Client Rep & Engineer I oversaw US$160M of civil works and reinforced concrete construction.
