  Job Description: Works alongside the patient's physicians, other nurses, nursing assistants within the unit and participates in monitoring and evaluation of effective and appropriate nursing rehabilitation strategies. My responsibilities are: • Participates in the monitoring of the planning, delivery of care and evaluation of the individualized patient care • Set up, operate, or monitor invasive equipment and devices such as endotracheal tube and tracheotomy equipment, mechanical ventilators, catheters, central lines, nasogastric and PEG tubes.• Distinguish between normal and abnormal developmental and age-related physiological and behavioral changes in acute, critical, and chronic illnesses.• Provides fundamental nursing care such as: bathing, feeding, oral hygiene. Also to accompany patients to and from other unit• Manage patients' pain relief and sedation by providing pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, monitoring patients' reactions, modifying as needed.• Administer blood and blood products transfusions, and monitor for adverse reactions.• Performs procedures accurately, completely and safely according to hospital policy. • Functions quickly and effectively in an emergency situation.• Perform emergency medical procedures, such as BLS, ACLS, and other condition stabilizing interventions.• Managed transport of patients to treatment locations, and assisted codes as needed.• Perform administrative duties that facilitate admission, transfer, or discharge of patients.
