      Acting as the main point of contact for the Public Health Department, Including the following duties:• Full use of Microsoft Office products, primarily typing of letters, memos and meeting notes as well as proof reading and amending documents• Answering both routine and more complex enquiries by telephone for the department and assigning calls to the relevant person• Receiving visitors to the department in a courteous, prompt and efficient manner, providing an important first impression to staff, service users and members of the public who require contact with the department• Management of an accurate filing system to ensure that documents can be obtained promptly• General ad-hoc office duties including stationery orders, incoming and outgoing mail and photocopying• Dealing with service issues such as arranging office machinery repairs with third party providers• Arranging meetings and appointments for other staff members and management, including preparation of meeting documents and accurate minute taking• Completing annual leave and sickness records and management of staff diaries.
