Work as an integral part of the Revenue cycle team that includes Patient Access, Billing, Patient Accounts, Clinical Reimbursement and Managed Contracts to help ensure positive cash flow for the organization. Works closely with Internal Audit to review and work on process improvement in different areas of the hospital that affects facility coding. Member of the Security and Privacy Workgroup. Projects have included: Dictaphone Enterprise; Powerscribe for Radiology, McKesson Horizon Patient Folder, McKesson Paragon EMR, Clinical Documentation Improvement program, ICD-10 Core Workgroup member. Led project management for implementation of McKesson's One Content in January 2016. Member of the ED process improvement project. Partnered with Soft Script who hired the existing remaining transcriptionists who continued transcribing the hospital's dictation. Attended HCCA's Basic Privacy Academy and passed the certification for healthcare privacy compliance (CHPC June 2015). Successfully brought DNFB to 5.0 days for FY15. Partnered with Ciox to outsource Release of Information in 2017. 2019 - Project manager for implementation of Allscript's Intelligent Coding and Nuance's CDE One for our clinical documentation management program.
