  Contacted elementary schools in the Grays Harbor area of coastal WA state and coordinated and conducted 6 environmental science lessons focused on migratory shorebirds and environmental awareness. Reached over 4,000 students, predominantly in Title 1 public schools. Developed curriculum and materials for six lesson plans that correlate to state academic standards while utilizing experiential education methods. Lead and scheduled 15 field trips at optimal tide times to Grays Harbor National Wildlife Refuge within the two weeks of peak shorebird viewing at the Refuge. Recruited, trained, and scheduled 12 volunteers to assist in guiding student small groups on field trips.   Create daily lesson plans for 9 K-2nd grade students focused on development of early English language literacy skills. Complete 30 minute lessons with each student in a prompt, individualized, and intentional manner. Coordinate with team members and teachers to sustain a positive work environment.
