      Aug 2013 - Dec 2017

Along with the previous responsibilities, I decisioned 40-50 loans per week after evaluating all aspects of a member’s application. I supervised 5-10 SECU lending officers in expanding their knowledge of how to assess a loan application. I created monthly objectives for employees, while assessing how efficiently each representative surpassed their specific goals. Within the branch and Contact Center I utilized my Mortgage Loan Originator License and Accredited Financial Counselor License for any member that needed it. A team, including myself, interviewed applicants during the hiring process. Another important aspect is upholding control processes to ensure our member’s sensitive information Show less I previously served as Lending Support for my shift. My duties included overviewing all loans, uploading them into our database, creating cashier checks, and FedExing checks. I specialize in underwriting external refinances for cars. I have held this position since July 2014 and since it is a rotating shift I will train the next employee January 2015 to replace me.I am able to process loans such as credit cards, personal loans, and car loans. I am also able to be the process of mortgages and home equity lines.I currently supervise a team of representatives that take calls through SECU's call center. My job is to guide these representatives into their respective fields of SECU while helping our members. I am now able to help members apply for car loans, personal loans, credit cards, and assist members with any lending needs. Lending SupportJuly 2014 - January 2015 I was chosen by my manager to be one of two people to fill the Lending Support position for our contact center. Since we currently have over 50 employees and over 10 lending officers this position was created. I check over all employees loans to make sure everything is correct with all loan documents. I cut the cashier checks for each car loan and send it to the dealership. Any questions that other loan officers have about loans are answered by me as well. Show less State Employees' Credit Union has allowed me to work in the field I love while constantly giving me the chance to grow. The great customer service that has been instilled in me through the company has allowed me to connect with members one on one with each phone call. In turn, I have been able to develop my communication skills by speaking to 60+ members a day and helping them efficiently and effectively. There are numerous ways I help customers daily. I assist members with opening accounts, transferring funds, providing information about their accounts, general information, and other financial items. I have also been entrusted to handle account sensitive information to continue this great relationship with our members. Being named a mentor as well, I guide newer employees by answering questions and helping them get accustomed to the work environment. I recently have been able to mentor my third group of trainees, which has allowed me to continue growing as a mentor. I attained my Notary Public on March 6th, 2014. SUPPORT POSITION Feb. 2014 - May 2014During this time I had been appointed as Support for my current shift. It adds a few more responsibilities to my role as Financial Services Representative.
