Course includes operation of a CAD system to prepare mechanical drawings and architectural working drawings of a small structure. Student learns the theory and math needed to perform differential leveling, a traverse survey of at least three points within an allowed error, and a site survey depicting all terrain and manmade object. Student performs quality testing on concrete and performs soil tests for: identification, moisture, specific gravity, density and bearing ratio.
