Enabled the client to exit from its creditor led corporate restructuring process. - Build a financial model for a distressed Korean construction company’s 30 domestic plant and overseas construction projects, assessing their feasibility through analyzing their contract terms, estimated construction costs and progress (2015). - Devised a financial restructuring plan for a Korean manufacturer of LCD panel parts (2015). As a project leader, performed scenario analysis on various options to improve its financial position by selling non-core assets, adjusting terms and conditions of their existing loans and secure equity investments. (2) M&A and Other Projects - Provided sell-side advisory services for a distressed Korean auto-parts company (2015). As a project leader, managed the deal process from preparing marketing materials based on due diligence to supporting the client’s negotiation with potential buyers. - Reviewed the feasibility of 3 shipping SPCs for a Korean investment company (2016, on-going). Not only reviewed the company’s historical financials, but also supported its entire M&A process by preparing materials for management presentations, break out sessions, investors’ due diligence, and other key deal events. (2019)- Conducted a preliminary commercial due diligence on a Korean shipbuilding company for a Korean PE firm. Analyzed the target’s addressable market size and competitiveness of its naval and commercial shipbuilding businesses, and suggested upside potential that can be realized by merging with other mid-sized Korean shipyards. (2019) - Performed financial due diligence on a Korean color steel plate manufacturer for a Korean PE firm during the PE’s buying process. Reviewed the company’s historical financial statements and operation data to find out potential deal issues, normalization items, and accounting adjustment items. (2018) (2) Cashflow Analysis and Other Financial Advisory Projects- Conducted valuation and feasibility studies for a number of Korean shipping companies during their capital raising process from Korean financial institutions (2018~2019)- Performed cash flow and financial viability analysis of a Korean shipbuilding company after diagnosis on its competitiveness in securing new contracts and reducing building costs. Prepared its creditor banks to devise exit plans to minimize additional losses. (2018)- Monitored a Korean shipbuilding company's financial and operational performance utilizing a number of agreed-upon KPIs, and informed its creditor banks about the company's status in a regular basis. (2016 ~ 2017) - Conducted projected cash flow analysis for shipbuilding companies in Korea and Philippines (2016 and 2017).
