  Oversaw all aspects of sales, details and execution of golf events, fundraisers, charity functions, team building events, and catered events ranging from outdoor themed barbeques to elaborate sit down dinners for 8 properties/venues. I rebranded three of the golf courses and opened up two full scale catering venues within the existing properties, that now exceed 8 million dollars in annual sales revenue.I created a formula and offer a step by step guide for a golf coordinator to follow from implementation to execution to ensure an events success. I gave speaking engagements and seminars for corporations and throughout American Golf's portfolio of courses about the importance of fundraising and the various ways to make an event unique and memorable.   Plan and execute The Blue & Gray Golf Tour, which is comprised of 12 National Maritime Industry golf tournaments that benefit the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) and its Department of Athletics. The Tournaments are coordinated in nearly every major shipping area throughout the country and attract over 1,600 attendees annually. The US Merchant Marine Academy is one of the five Federal Service Academies (West Point, Naval Academy, Air Force, Coast Guard and The US Merchant Marine Academy) The Institution houses over 20 Intercollegiate athletic programs that rely annually on the proceeds generated by the Golf Tour. In the past decade, these golf events have raised over 8.5 million dollars in net proceeds. In addition, The Foundation has acquired a 15,000 square foot Estate within the rolling hills of the Saddle Rock section of Great Neck. It boasts a Ballroom with 30ft ceilings and a theatre balcony section. The Cocktail Hour Room also serves as a space for smaller, more intimate affairs. With an ornate fireplace and a wall of french doors leading out to the garden, it is an ideal backdrop for any celebration. The Estate also has a Library, several smaller rooms and a beautiful antique historic barn that sits adjacent to the main building. This was formally the Woman's Club of Great Neck. Over the past few years, I have renovated and assisted in its historical restoration. Now open, The Mariner Estate is a unique, prestigious and exclusive venue for private events, located on the North Shore of Long Island. I have built an "Estate team" and we are booking future events while making magical memories for families each day. Show less
