  As gluing operator I ran International Speed King, Right Angle, Folder Gluers. Extensive knowledge working with Leary glue detection, Nordson, Spraymation, Straub Taper, Domino printers, Markem printers, Longford inserters, Wexxar case erectors, Roberts and multifold prefeeders and Western Slope autopackers. As shift superintendent I oversaw the safety, quality and production of Rotogravure, Flexo presses and Folder gluers.

  Developed leader standard work and responsibilities for better press reliability. Reduced press downtime from 15% to 10%. Developed a make ready "recipe book" to ensure repeatability of the process. This resulted in quicker sign offs for color match.Using 5S principles, redesigned and organized the print/cut die room. Managed group of 15 maintenance employees utilizing the Elke work order system. Created 700 work orders per month, from routine, planned, predictive and emergency. Utilized Elke work order system to prioritize and distribute work for maintenance staff. Communicated with outside contractors to perform in plant work as needed. Conducted annual safety training for maintenance staff and contractors.
