  To undertake this role I successfully completed my LCQ (License Controller Qualification) and also went on to obtain my General Managers Certificate. As the Duty Manager I have sole leadership of the store in the absence of the Store Manager and am in charge of each department. I must oversee the sale of all liquor and ensure our store is in compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 in order to reduce the harm associated with alcohol misuse. The most important tasks in this role are to ensure that all shelves are stocked and presentable, interact with customers, support queries and complaints and making decisions based on what is right for our customers and colleagues.
