During the 4 months, women get in touch with the basics of general tech areas, such as programming, internet and network, security, crypto, data analysis, and performance marketing...I worked repetitively with Mirka Uhnak to help fulfill her vision of having more women in Tech. My role was the organizer of the sessions with lectors, making sure that the quality of the program is met, and helping out women with more complicated topics.   Wincent is a high-frequency trading firm with a focus on the cryptocurrency world. I joined the early-stage punk team as the 30th employee. Over one year, the company grew into 100 people, including more than 50 software engineers. The group consists of extraordinarily talented people with a high drive to deliver and skills in tech, analytics and optimisation.The company's tech part was led by the CTO, 4 team leads and me as the project manager. I was responsible for cross-team projects, focusing on fast delivery to production and high safety. While at Wincent, I delivered process improvements around deployment, testing and task management. I was forced to adapt to different roles, acting as a stop-gap to cover missing positions until we hired the experts for that area. Because of that, I got a deep understanding of DevOps as the interim leader of the team. I also stepped in to help to manage the main technical trading platform when the team needed a manager. I was active in creating the goals, adjusting the priorities of tech teams and evaluating the people's added value for the company. Show less
