  Coordinate all advocacy initiative and training activities in the Federal Capital Territory. In this capacity my key responsibilities include;•Provide free legal and counseling services to victims of Gender Based Violence in the Federal Capital Territory and its environs.•Collaborate with the Gender Unit of the Force Intelligence Bureau to expedite actions on cases of Gender Based Violence.•Train Civil Society Groups, Media, Local and International Development Partners Violence Against Persons’ Prohibition Act as Advocacy Tool in curbing Sexual Gender Based Violence in Nigeria.•Develop project proposals for fundraising.•Design and coordinate programmes for the prevention of Gender Based Violence in Nigeria.•Representing FIDA in all the Public hearing of proposed legislation for the protection of women and Children.•Developing various social outreaches and training programmes on good governance and violence against women in the FCT.•Identifying and establishing contact with local funding agencies in Abuja that can fund the organization’s programmmes.•Monitoring and evaluation of project activities for FIDA programme.
