  This Internship ran in my third year of college as part of the "work placement" module in DIT.I was mainly located in the nuclear medicine department, but also received experience in CT, PET CT, X-ray, clinical engineering and decontamination/sterilisation departments. I gained experience in preparing radioactive isotope injections for SPECT CT, examining SeCHAT scans, GFR testing and doing daily/annual QA/QC on different systems in the hospital.I assisted in the physicist commissioning tests on a brand new CT scanner and Mammogram system.
