      Advised Executive Officers and management on EO and SHARP laws, policies and procedures supporting approximately 10,000, soldiers and civilians. Developed strategic level policies and procedures to augment Title VII, Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Department of Defense (DoD) policies governing EO. Ensured policies focused on awareness, prevention, training, education, victim advocacy, response, reporting, and follow-up actions. Responsible for developing, establishing, implementing and reinforcing EO goals, objectives, policies and procedures. Advised Commanders at various levels on how to maintain a positive Equal Opportunity (EO) environment and high standard of community relations within their area of responsibility. Ensured senior level Commanders were kept abreast of changes in the EO policies and regulations. Consistently engaged Soldiers and Civilians, through Command Climate Surveys, Focus Groups, One-on-One Sessions, and training, to ensure fair treatment and respect of all. Reviewed student enrollment packets to attend Equal Opportunity Courses. Trained and certified more than 300 Soldiers to become Equal Opportunity Leaders. Maintained military records jackets and automated Human Resource systems in support of the program. Experienced with an in-depth knowledge of and skill in applying a standard body of military personnel duties, regulations, procedures, and operations of enrollment and contract documents. Worked approximately 50-60 hours per week. Maintained a 24 hour Equal Opportunity Complaint on-call status. Assisted candidates in preparing their certification packages to meet requirements for proper security clearances and enrollment into the Department of the Army SHARP training course. Scheduled class dates and assisted in instructing various topics within the area of sexual harassment and assault. Possess the experience and knowledge to produce variety of correspondences, such as: official memos, policy letters, etc...       As an Instructor / Facilitator, I present the SHARP 80-hour training sessions with a high level of audience interaction. Courses are taught with one other instructor to class sizes of approximately 50-60 students. The target audience includes Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, and Army DA Civilians. Facilitate classroom discussions and practical exercises. Administer exams to validate the student’s understanding of the course material. Administer student feedback surveys. Coordinate with the installation point of contact prior to the training start date and throughout the course. Take attendance, complete basic daily reports, and perform administrative tasks. Familiar with the military and its services and resources. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas and processes thoroughly and clearly to people at various levels of education and computer competency.
