  Funded by IDB & Treasury of Maracanaú MunicipalityGeneral coordination of the management unit of the City's Urban Transport and Logistics Program (TRANSLOG), being responsible for managing the resources from international financing through the Inter-American Development Bank - IDB with municipal counterpart, using urban planning and project management techniques in order to carry out the execution of the programme in accordance with contractual requirements. The contract's financial result is around USD 63.500.000,00.The program's main objective is to contribute to improving the Municipality of Maracanaú's productivity and mitigate the negative impacts of climate change, through the development of efficient and sustainable infrastructure. The specific objectives of the Program are: (i) to reduce travel times and operational costs of transporting goods and passengers; and (ii) to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.Results achieved: • Delivered the project on time, on budget and in compliance with the Investment Bank’s policy requirements and guidelines. • Supported the development and implementation of a gender equality policy in the municipality's transport sector. • Controlled and monitored the contractual pari passu. • Developed a healthy and robust pipeline of viable sustainable urban investment projects. • Implemented Programme progress results with mapping, modelling, monitoring and evaluation in line with stakeholder commitments, providing the Progress Monitoring Report (PMR) efficiently and regularly, including risk management with the identification of critical points in the disbursement curve. • Implemented the entity's capacity to plan, design, build and operate with data integrity urban infrastructure to address the social, economic and environmental concerns related to the Programme’s objective. • Developed regular Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) reports. Show less Provision of technical support and strategic guidance to a multidisciplinary team to prepare the review of the City's masterplan and implement urban proposals that enabled the city's social, environmental and economic development.Results achieved: • Addressed social inequalities and urban poverty through the City Masterplan, Social Housing and Urban Mobility Plans. • Developed and Implemented Sustainable Urban Zoning policies in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). • Streamlined urban planning permission processes and carried out policy analysis, reducing approval times by 40%. • Monitoring and Review for the Preparation of the Project Operation Development (POD). • Carried out the identification, technical preparation of feasibility studies, negotiation and approval of US$ 31.75 Million of IDB investment in urban infrastructure and redevelopment, focused on appraisal of sovereign guaranteed loans.   Funded by IDBProvided consultancy on developing a Decarbonisation and Climate Change Adaptation Plan in the context of Northeast Brazil. Nippon Koei LAC (JPN) & Certare Group (BR) Joint Venture Results achieved: • Elaborated the 1st Municipal Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory for the city of Maracanaú, Ceará. • Provided capacity-building through 40-hours workshops with training activities for the municipality’s technical staff. • Prepared the Climate Risk and Vulnerability Analysis Report. • Proposed Urban Energy Efficiency strategies, based on the development of resilient and decarbonized scenarios, including inputs to develop sustainable transport policy. • Drew up a Climate Action Plan aligned with 100% of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in full collaboration with stakeholders, covering energy, transport, industry, waste management and governance. • Realized the Sustainability Policy for the municipality based on Just Energy Transition context.
