  Physical labor including chopping wood, building rock walls, pouring concrete, painting, and planting trees. Creating organizational systems for shared spaces. Keeping living spaces clean and organized. Learning basics of Turkish language in order to make food trips into the city and transport from village to village. Cook and bake on wood stove four times a week for 5-10 people each night. Communicate with travelers from all different nations with different opinions and experiences.

  Provided organizational and strategic planning to Foundation leadership. Coordinated 300-person volunteer workforce performing 21 simultaneous cultural landmark improvement and construction projects across 3 locations. Created, edited, and updated spreadsheets and working documents for large scale volunteer operations. Hosted current and potential Foundation sponsors. Taught English to young hill tribe children of ages varying 4 years to 12 years. Worked successfully with Foundation leaders and staff despite a heavy language barrier Show less
