This culminated in a final presentation and design pitch to a panel of industry experts, University executives, and Westmead Hospital clinicians. Our solution involved the development and implementation of a re-designed task trainer for anaesthetic regional block simulation, using phantom multi-modal soft tissue materials, an inbuilt filtration system and novel peristaltic motion simulator. The project helped me gain valuable skills in patent filing, biomedical standards, the design process, research procedures, communication and teamwork. Show less
