  Freelance artist and digital creative.

  I have worked for many years as a freelance artist in a variety of different disciplines. Initially I started as a fine artist mainly working in the fields of abstract expressionism as well as figurative work including figure drawing, portraits and animal portraiture. For paintings I am adept at working in oil, acrylic and water colour as well as mixed media including collage and found objects.I have also branched out into illustration and design and as such have had the pleasure to produce work for many tattoo designs, murals to be displayed at events, album covers and even designed bespoke automotive body parts. Since adding digital media to my tool box I have taken on work in animation, concept art and design, video editing and motion graphics.I have also worked as a freelance instructor teaching Adobe Illustrator and Premier Pro in a niche client focused format.   Supporting the Senior Lecturer on the animation unit on a large Animation and Illustration course at the University for the Creative Arts Canterbury campus. I was responsible for delivering one-to-one feedback and support whilst working with both traditional and digital animation.

  Designing and delivering Art for Games and Animation for Games units to higher education students. This involved designing both taught and practical sessions to a group of students with a variety of different ability levels. Alongside side this there was the need to work pastorally with these students in order to help them progress and develop as burgeonoing games artists. I was responsible for assessment and feedback at all stages as well as utilising the Universities framework for student monitoring. Show less
