  • Direct report to the Business Director, built and lead a multi-task team of eleven people, responsible for the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Business Planning, Stock Management, CRM and Marketing.• Responsible for supporting all financial and business planning activities, including quarterly budget, forecast, monthly closing results and management reports to ensure alignment with strategic goals and objectives. Introduced the complex Zero Based Budgeting (ZBB) process, resulting in a 19.1% reduction in variable expenses.• Working together with the Controller, reformulated the company’s budget process changing it from annual to quarterly (due a fast-paced market) and breaking it down into individual departments budgets before consolidate them into one overall corporate budget, improving the budget accuracy• Introduced the financial modelling approach on the company’s Financial and Business Planning, improving the efficiency of budget and forecast process through Scenario Analysis (optimistic, pessimistic and realistic), resulting on a change on the way the company used to take its decisions in departments such as Procurement, Supply Chain, HR.• Spearheaded the creation and automation of management and monthly closing reports through BI tools (using Tableau, SQL and Advanced Excel), improving the accuracy of the numbers in a timely manner.• Acting as a Business Partner in ad-hoc projects, headed process improvements collaborating cross functionally with different departments to understand needs and identify opportunities to drive business results and achieve financial goals. Played an important role on the development of a new CRM process (increasing the client retention index in 48,4%) and on the introduction of statistics analysis in customer surveys (increasing the Customer Satisfaction Index from 9.02 to 9.45, making it higher than the national average).
