Orchestrated an industry day of non-contracting local national organizations, which resulted in educating the local population on how to acquire a government (Army) contract, in support of US, other local nationals, and civilians on based. Supervised the contracting solution for Humanitarian Relief in Bosnia, which resulted in a Bosnian elementary school being renovated to educate the local population. Provided exemplary supervision and guidance to over ten (10) middle managers, and over twenty junior leaders. Provided a work environment which fostered the team to maintain 100 days of injury free incidents while in command. Guided junior and middle management leaders to produce elevated professionals, which increased the organizations operational readiness from 70% to 85%. Assisted in managing various war-fighting exercises in support of operations overseas.   Served as the Chief Operations Officer, also known as the Officer In Charge (S3-OIC), for the 408th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB) in Kuwait. Supervised other senior leaders in the day-to-day operations of a contracting organization, which was responsible for providing contracting support through multiple contracting teams, contracting battalions, and Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Management Contract Management Agency (DCMA) civilians throughout the middle east, in support of the United Stated Central Command (USCENTCOM) area of operations. Provided timely business solutions on surge and down-sizing efforts throughout the middle east, and presented contracting capabilities to senior executive officers from various non-contracting organizations. Also served as the Contracting Support Procurement Office (CSPO) supervisor, where I managed service contracts throughout the middle east. Participated in various non-contracting working group, which aimed to educate supporting organizations of feasible and fiscally responsible contracting solutions throughout the middle east. Managed the rotations and locations of active duty, national guard, and reserve Army component contracting teams throughout the middle east. Supported executive leaders and general officers on mission critical, mission enabling, and mission enhancing joint force exercises and live support to US Soldiers and our allies. Show less

  Served as a Shift fellow under the Career Accelerator Program, that provides veterans helpful information prior to starting an internship. It allowed me to strengthen my resume, become aware of other resources, and meeting new people. The instructors were informative, professional, and arranged for a few industry partners to speak to our cohort.
