  Plan and Build new Parks, Trails, and Recreational facilities for Provo City.High degree of coordination with project stakeholders including Provo residents, US Forest Service, Bureau of Reclamation, UDOT, Utah County, MAG, Utah GOED Office of Outdoor Recreation, Provo Public Works, Facilities, Legal, Financial Accounting, New Development Departments within the City. Host public meetings with neighborhoods for input on Park designs and community needs. Respond to Community requests for information and concerns.Long range Strategic planning and budgeting. Manage $2-25 million annual projects budget. Project planning, funding, scheduling, and completion. Manage a 6 person team of builders that construct technical playgrounds, concrete structures, pavilions and irrigation systems. Team also assists in completing inter-departmental teams' projects as well as other city departments' projects.Manage Provo City repository of historical documents and plans relating to Parks and Recreation properties. Draft and maintain the Provo City specifications for Park buildings, Concrete, Landscape, Irrigation and Plantings, etc. Show less
