      Registered manager of a dementia residential home with daycentre. 40 services users reside at Watermill with 20 places per day 7 days per week in the daycentre. Staff compliment of around 70 staff.Watermill was not CQC compliant when I arrived at Watermill, then within 7 months we were compliant, and remained that way until I left.We were also compliant with Infection Control and Environmental Health, and Housing and Care 21's own auditing systems.       Registered Manager of Intermediate Care Service providing reablement to the citizens of Walsall. Overseeing the quality of a team of Reablement Officers working in the wider community, alongside nurses, physiotherapists, Occupational Therapy, at the individuals home or in an ICT/ Spot bed, whilst adhering to CQC and relevant government legislation. Recently managing both bed based Hollybank House (21 beds) 50 staff and Reablement Domicillary Care services 90-150 service users per week) 70 staff, reshaping the future of reablement into Intermediate Care Services.Refresh of service resulted in the decommissioning of Hollybank House as a reablement unit. 100 staff going through consultation and ultimately being made redundant, to make cost efficiencies and the service more streamlined and efficient. This was a challenging time, with many hurdles along the way at this sensitive time.Also managed the dissemination of staff and managers to close an inadequate care home as per CQC requirements in the borough, whilst supporting staff and citizens through a difficult transition.
