  Uxbridge Involved in a Mixed Signal design of a GSM chip set. Investigated and tested the system design using COSSAP which modeled the environment, where I produced several FORTRAN programs to speed up the simulations. Produced many digital modules using Synopsys and Verilog.

  Involved in Many High Volume, complex ASIC's from Turn key designs through to customer's full custom projects. This required knowledge from the design methodology through to the manufacturing process. The role required educating and liaising with the customer.

  Senior Design Engineer

  Involved in the HDME7000 (High Definition Digital Video Effects) project from conception through to full scale production. Responsible for 10 ASIC designs. Designed the Non-Linear effects board which included the PCB, firmware and software. This produced over 100 Non-linear real time effects. Project leader of a team developing the next generation components for a Digital Switcher which involved three Xilinx VirtexE FPGA's each over a Million gates. Responsible for investigating and maintaining all ASIC and FPGA design tools. This required the migration from expensive UNIX platform tools to more cost efficient PC tools. Show less
