  Drilling Engineer responsible for Well Planning, Drilling Program writing and daily operations monitoring for all wells drilled in the Soldado fields offshore the Southwest coast of Trinidad during this period. Operations involved the utilization of a mat-supported jackup type drilling rig in 40-100ft of water in highly overpressured complex geological environments. Challenges included shallow and deep overpressure, production-related pressure depletion, natural pressure-regressions and downhole ductile asphalt. Achievements included playing a key role in pioneering Horizontal Drilling & Geosteering in Trinmar, as well as being a critical contributor to the design, directional well planning, operational monitoring and troubleshooting of the first multilateral well drilled in Trinidad & Tobago.
