      Worked as an Intern for one month in which I got exposure of different departments including Plant maintenance, pwer generation using turbocharged diesel engines, offsite maintenance, machine and fabrication shop. This was a wonderful opportunity to practically visualize what I have studied during my engineering course.

      Responsible for engineering & execution of Capex projects, handling day to day issues of plant, detailed engineering of static equipment/piping & support to plants on welding procedures. Brief of my job description is as under:- Prepare cost estimates, acquire budgetary approval for Capex projects.- Detailed engineering of Capex projects including preparation/review of all technical documents including fabrication drawings, inspection & testing plans, welding procedures, NDE procedures hydrotest requirements and inspection.- Field execution of Capex projects.- Providing technical assistance including detailed engineering study to FFC Plants for resolving day to day problems at the Plant.- Prepare piping drawings for new or modified piping networks to check code compliance.- Prepare structural drawings of structural modifications at plant sites to satisfy the requirements of AISC code.- Prepare welding procedures with reference to ASME section IX and SNAMPROGETTI standards.- Prepare engineering package/RFQ and technical bids evaluation for awarding outsourced jobs to most suitable vendor based on techno-economic aspects.- Detailed review of engineering documents submitted by vendors including design and fabrication drawings, welding procedures and quality inspection plans.- Preparation of yearly business plan for the department keeping in view the steps to be taken for efficiency improvement of the section.- Provide assistance to plant site during Turnarounds/Shut-downs as inspection/maintenance engineer.
