  - Managed the $100 million dollar modernization portfolio of the Dry Combat Submersible (DCS) bringing new capabilities to the platform and warfighter.- Led a team of 10 contractors and government employees managing the logistics, engineering, testing and evaluation of the DCS platform through its initial delivery to the government.- Aligned stakeholders across all levels of Naval Special Warfare, Research Laboratories, Defense Contractors, and other government agencies to ensure mission accomplishment.- Developed and wrote the first comprehensive instruction for implementing design changes to the Dry Combat Submersible. Show less Special Operations Forces Officer:- Led a team of sailors to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of all equipment used by Navy SEALs and Divers during missions vital to national security.- Supervised the most stringent quality control program onboard the submarine which allowed the safe execution of diving operations.- Identified inefficiencies and modernized legacy procedures to expedite diving operations and minimize time in hostile operating areas. Ship’s Diving Officer: - Appointed by the Commanding Officer to serve as the subject matter expert responsible for the safe diving, surfacing, and ballasting evolutions for a Virginia Class submarine. - Managed the training program and certified a team of 100 sailors qualified to operate equipment related to the safety of the submarine. Reactor Control Assistant:- Led a team of 15 sailors responsible for the operation and maintenance of complex instrumentation and control equipment of a nuclear reactor.- Coordinated the troubleshooting and repair of equipment vital to the ship’s electrical distribution equipment while on tasking vital to National Security. - Orchestrated a robust quality control and process improvement program through audits and training events.Assistant Operations Officer:- Consolidated inputs across all divisions of a nuclear submarine and developed a daily plan of action and operational brief for the Commanding Officer. Show less Nuclear Power Training Unit (NPTU), Ballston Spa, NY: NPTU trains and qualifies sailors to operate nuclear power plants onboard the Navy's submarines and aircraft carriers. The curriculum requires graduate-level coursework in chemistry, material science, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, electrical engineering, and reactor physics. Officer students managed cross-functional technicians in the operation and maintenance of nuclear propulsion plants. The training is performed in concert with the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory (KAPL) and the Naval Reactors Representative Office (NRRO).Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC), Charleston, SC: NNPTC is a complex graduate-level nuclear engineering program that trains students in science and engineering fundamentals regarding the design, operation, and maintenance of nuclear propulsion plants.
