  Culture Fusion is a £6.9m capital project - refurbishment of an historic mill with a modern extension to create a 3,000 square metre city centre youth building with a wide range of facilities including rooftop cafe, games room, peace pod and rooftop venue.Young people have been very involved in the development of this centre and steering group of young people (known as Culture Fusion Advisors) where set up in August 2008.I was specifically selected by Culture Fusion Advisors in July 2012 to lead on the interior design for the open access areas of Culture Fusion. This decision was made after the advisors visited Bradford College, considering work that students were showcasing.I have been significantly involved in the project since that time and have also become a valued and commented member of the Culture Fusion Advisors, contributing to a wide range of issues relating to the building, not just in relation to the interior design. Over the project I have worked closely with the youth of Bradford, Architects, Designers and consultants regarding all areas of the build.
