Throughout my tenure, I fostered a dynamic environment that encouraged creativity, collaboration, and a commitment to exceeding industry standards. The successful sale of Chapman IP marked not just an exit but a celebration of the collective effort of the team I built over nearly 18 years of ownership including those of additional directors brought on board .   Joined the board of Murgitroyd PLC. A member of both the Risk and Remuneration Committees. Guided the business through the Integration of Chapman IP helping unlock the full value of the acquisition. Supported the leadership team in defining clear new industry propositions, improving the understanding of profit levers and assisting in the amalgamation of two distinct working environments into a cohesive company culture.Assisted the board decision-making on a takeover bid by Sovereign Capital Partners. Board level involvement in the due diligence process which led to the successful pubic to private sale of Murgitroyd PLC.Subsequently invited by Sovereign to rejoin the Murgitroyd board under their private ownership.Murgitroyd Group PLC was delisted from the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange in December 2019 following its acquisition by London based private equity firm Sovereign Capital Partners. This acquisition concluded a highly successful period on publicly listed markets for Murgitroyd Group, which floated in 2001 with an initial share price of 121p and which was acquired in December 2019 for a purchase price of 675p per share. representing a c.£62 million overall valuation. Over 480 employees with 22 offices globally.Invited by the new PE owners, Sovereign Capital Partners, to rejoin the board of Murgitroyd following acquisition and AIM delisting, with a remit for substantial transformation; this included oversight of dual organic/buy and build growth stratgey. Supported four acquisitions that provided additive services, technologies and market coverage.As a board member I helped steer development of a balanced strategy that grew Murgitroyd to almost double its revenue within 3 years. Work closely with the NED Chair and CEO to drive emphasis on long terms sustanable organic and acquisitive growth. Championed the ESG integration and supported the new operating model and culture to support modern working practices. Brought impartial and independent perspective to the decision making process.
