      I created molds and created casts of mastodon and basilosaurus (early whale ancestor) bones for display and research purposes. Significant use of silicone for making the molds, as well as fiberglass and polyester resin to create the rigid support structure. Casts were primarily polyester and fiberglass composite.

I worked specifically on bag filtration houses, vacuum degasser machines and support operations, furnace and ladle quality monitoring, Hot Metal Desulfurization stations, and other operations supporting primary steel production.
