      Activities and Societies: IMPACT Scholar - I worked with a team to organize service programs both on our ship and in foreign countries and led immersion intensive field excursions. Through this leadership role, I became highly adept at memorizing and executing trip itineraries for large groups and generating reports that detailed the trips' success. This position highlights my ability to produce travel operations in foreign and diverse locations around the world. Traveling through Hawaii, Japan, China, Vietnam, Myanmar, India, South Africa, Ghana, Morocco, and Germany, I experienced a global comparative approach to international education that connected the world's people and traditions. In this circumnavigation of the globe, I adapted to unfamiliar environments and embraced cultural differences through understanding, engagement, and flexibility.       Created artwork series for COP 26 display. The pieces were featured in an exhibit hosted by a collaborative of wetland / peatland scientists working with PAGES Past Global Changes. My mission with this work is to convey that peatlands are diverse ecosystems and valuable archives of past environmental change that can be used to help inform land management and restoration/conservation efforts. It was an honor to contribute to these incredible scientist’s advocacy efforts.
