I communicated with individuals, community health centers, and community organizations to reach potential patients and navigate them through the screening process in the Louisville Metro area. This position was grant funded through the Kentucky Colon Cancer Screening Program. Through the 2015 fiscal year over 70 patients completed their screening through the KCCSP and I was able to speak to over 500 Louisville community members about the importance of timely screening.
