  • Designed, developed and maintained full ownership of a new product for Verisk named “IDC (Indemnity Data Call)” using .NET Core for Web Backend, .NET Standard for batch, Postgres for database, Pentaho for ETL, Autofac for Dependency Injection/IoC and Angular framework for Web Frontend. “IDC” is a complex batch and web enterprise application that collects flat file Workers Claims Data from Insurance Companies based in USA, extracts, transforms and loads (ETL) these data in relational database, performs business logic on them, generates reports and submits the resulting reports to applicable DCOs.• Primarily worked on full stack development of Web application (“Indemnity Data Call (IDC)”) and maintained batch portion of legacy applications.• Migrated a number of legacy applications that were using SSIS to use Pentaho for ETL which reduced time to load flat file data into database by 25%, when tested on 15 fixed width flat files each containing 60k rows and 100 columns per row.• Implemented complex SQL queries manually instead of using ORM so as to have faster query result for complex batch and web application (also implemented it for displaying complex tabular result in web).• Reviewed and reworked on business Requirement Documents to help business unit refine their business logic.• Performed unit/integration testing of applications using Specflow.• Mentored newly hired QAs to help them understand Business logic of the applications for achieving efficient testing.
