  Design of acoustic enclosures, primarily for the power distribution industry, according to customer specifications and DH10 and B.E.B.S. T2 guidelines. The design process involves producing 2D approval drawings with the use of Autocad, producing 3D models of the enclosure with the use of Solidworks and designing a suitable ventilation system using hand calculations and CFD software for thermal analysis. I also design access steps and platforms with Solidworks and use FEA software in order to perform stress analysis.I liaise with the customer, subcontractors and project managers in order to take each project from initial concept to final delivery and sign off.I have designed enclosures for several high profile projects, like the Thames Tideway project, the Flintshire Bridge Converter Station, the Walney offshore windfarm and many others.Our customers include Siemens, ABB, Ørsted (formerly known as DONG energy), Scottish Power and many others.
