  For my Placement for International Hospitality Management I moved to Florida for a year to work for Walt Disney World. Over the year I was placed in three roles across the theme parks and the hotels.Park Operations - Magic Kingdom - 3 monthsThis role was divided into two different position. There was park greeter, where I operated the turnstiles at the entrance of Magic Kingdom. Then there was Parade Audience Control (PAC). This role included a lot more training and was heavily based on health and safety of the customers during the parades and fireworks.Quick Service at Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe - Magic Kingdom - 3 monthsFor this role I was placed on the counter of the busiest restaurant in the world. I was to ensure the customers received the products they had purchased at a quick but professional way. Additionally during the Christmas period I was also placed in the "Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Parties" handing out cookies and hot chocolate to the customers.Front Desk - Port Orleans Resort - 6 monthsMy last role was working at the front desk of a New Orleans themed resort. This hotel was split into two sections, French Quarter and Riverside. I was placed in both hotels at the hotel where I learned the operating systems that Disney used to check in a guest. Show less
