  I worked as a patrol officer for routine calls for police services from 1986-1989. In 1989 I was assigned to a local organized crime unit where I performed surveillance on traditional and non-traditional organized crime organizations. I performed undercover operations involving firearms, narcotics, gambling and prostitution. I also worked as a department training officer, internal affairs investigator, a uniform patrol shift commander and a SWAT officer.

  During my career as a technician, I was a qualified crew chief on UH-60 A/L and HH-60M (Blackhawk) helicopter. I was responsible for providing line and heavy (phase) maintenance as well as crew chief duties.

  I serve as an H-60 series Flight Instructor (FI) and have logged aprox. 3000 hrs. I currently train and evaluate crewmembers on a wide range of academic task such as aeromedical, night vision goggle operations, and special mission training such as Fast Rope (FRIES) Rappelling, operation of Bambi Buckets used in forest fire fighting, sling loads, M-134 mini-gun, Air-Tep, and Rescue Hoist operations. As an FI I train and supervise enlisted crew members in basic aviation maintenance and H-60 L/M system operations. I also instruct new H-60 pilots in basic flight system operations. Show less
