  I have been a teaching assistant for the Introductory Physics Laboratory, General Chemistry Laboratory, freshman writing course, Viennese Classical Music History, and the Organic Chemistry Laboratory. I carefully monitor students in classroom and laboratory settings with chemicals and glassware nearby. I meticulously report to the instructors with progress and grades of each student. I help with the preparation, setup, and execution of lessons. I also taught several lessons on writing style, practice, and rules. I worked with the synthesis of imines with respect to the effect of different electronegative groups. I worked independently in a laboratory setting. I became familiar with NMR spectrometer skills as I both used and fixed the machine on a daily basis.

  I worked with ASTM and Lubrizol methods for eight different density tests, viscosity testing, and GC testing. I also worked on corrosion testing with regards to creating an environmentally friendly and efficient method. I have begun a project to convert a packed column GC method to a capillary column. I worked daily on handling different methods and maintaining a proper pace of result outflow. I collaborate with others to make appropriate decisions on rushed work.
