  • Direct and supervise planned and breakdown activities on the Mechanical equipment in accordance with set plans, standard procedures and HSEQ regulation.• Caring out preventive and breakdown maintenance related to power generation and water desalination to ensure that plant and equipment are kept in a safe and operable condition, and ensures the availability of the required materials, spare parts and tools prior to maintenance activities throughout their service life, including investigation and diagnosing system faults and failures.• Monitors the condition of the plant items and equipment related to power generation and water desalination and advises on the need for maintenance as necessary.• Preparation of the annual maintenance budget for the Mechanical maintenance section, review actual performance against budget and advice on appropriate action to be taken on variances.
