      Facilitate Concept Writing Workshops for WWF Pacific’s Fiji, SI and PNG teams. Coordinate the development of WWF’s Countries’ (PNG, SI, FIJI & regional) Activity Plan Monitoring Systems and Strategic Plan Monitoring Systems (FY16 and beyond) in line with the Regional Pacific Strategic PlanDeveloped a Pacific Program Office structural framework (comprising an overarching regional, Fiji, PNG & SI) that maps out reporting processes and timelines of key deliverables including leads, reviewers, etc, and monitor its implementationCoordinate timely and quality submissions of all technical progress reports for all WWF-funded projects on a 6-monthly basis Coordinated and consolidate the sign off of Program Office Dashboard and World wide Overview Reporting which is done 6 monthly with WWF InternationalManage the Internal Database for WWF Pacific in terms of organizing new projects and also updating current projects and ensuring all relevant documents such as workplans, proposals, budgets and signed contracts are appropriately filedA trained facilitator of CCNET's Open Standards, also known as Project/Programme Planning Management System for WWFProviding M&E capacity for projects in addition to the WWF Regional programme monitoring.Acting also as an internal researcher for the organization, organizing several reports in particular, the report on the Critical Contributions of the WWF Pacific officeLeadership Fiji 2015 Graduate Show less My role was in managing a Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Australian Government funded project working towards "Building Effective Community Driven Governance Systems in Mali District to Enhance Community Access to Food, Income Generating Opportunities and Livelihoods".The project mainly focused on 3 objectives, one was looking at the Governance structures within the community and strengthening the District Development Committee to be the overarching body that manages development for the community in consultation and agreement with community leaders/chiefsThe other aspect of the project was looking at Fisheries Management. There is a major problem of poaching in this community (Qoliqoli Cokovata) and its adjacent fishing grounds as anecdotal evidence show the reefs in these fishing grounds show 70% of fish sold in Suva are caught here. This was an interesting aspect of the project which included first time initiatives like the ope-rationalizing of community fish wardens in terms of policing their fishing grounds. The third aspect was working with the women and youth of Mali District to set up businesses that were in sync with the environmentTasks included;-Managing project finances-Monitoring and Evaluation of the project-Donor reporting, WWF Network reporting, Relevant Government, partners and community reporting(in Vernacular)-Facilitation of community training/workshops (in vernacular)-In charge of communication for the project (vetting articles, providing interviews, etc) Show less Managing and Administering a Sustainable Land Management Project that applied Sustainable Land Use and Sustainable Forest Management components. Working with multiple partners, Department of Land Use and Planning and Department of Forest to provide awareness and resource the communities of Tikina Wai,and Cuvu in Nadroga and Tikina Sasa in Macuata with SLM Principles and allow them to apply it to their village and individual farms. There were model farms also established as a result of this project that served to provide guidance to the rest of the communities on the SLM and SFM Principles.       Spotlight Monitoring and Evaluation officer

      The Spotlight Initiative is a global partnership to eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls. It was launched in September 2017 by the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General and the European Union (EU) High Representative and Vice President (HRVP). The Global Theory of Change is comprehensive in nature, with a view to driving transformative change along 6 Pillars/Outcomes: Legislation and Policies, Institutional strengthening, Prevention of violence, Available, accessible, and acceptable, quality services, Quality and reliable data, and Supporting the women’s movement and relevant civil society organizations. The Initiative covers 5 regions (Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Pacific and the Caribbean) each with a specific focus area.-Based with the Resident Coordinators Office (UNRCO) and fundamentally responsible, in coordination with M&E Officers in all participating entity (Government, UN, EU, Civil Society), to support the design by the relevant UN agencies of the Monitoring plan of the Country/Regional Programme, as well as to support its implementation in line with the Spotlight Guidelines.
