  Sarfaraj Khan is a United Nations Security Management System Certified Security Professional (UNSMS SCP). Sarfaraj is currently serving as the National Security Operations Officer for WFP Bangladesh, a position he has held for the past four years. His responsibilities include overseeing all WFP operations in the country, as well as the safety and security of all staff members and eligible dependents, as well as WFP assets. Sarfaraj oversees a World Food Programme (WFP) team of three Field Security Associates (FSA) and 165 unarmed security guards, including five Guards commanders. His responsibilities extend across the country to 07 offices, 01 Logistics and Engineering Hub, and 06 WFP Warehouses. Sarfaraj is a UNSMS-certified FSA who served in Cox's Bazar for 02.5 years as part of a UN Level 03 emergency. He has extensive experience dealing with emergencies including conflict zones and natural disasters.
