  Data Architect

  I was hired as a programmer, but then was recruited into the Data Management group within Information Resource Management (IRM). In this position I would primarily interface with application development teams to help identify the new requirements and the impact to the enterprise data model. I then would incorporate these updates into the entity relationship diagram and document it appropriately. In this position I also create multiple custom tools for the data management (DM) team.

  I am a Managing Director in Accenture Industry X, and part of the Innovation & Thought Leadership Group. Accenture’s Industry X group combines emerging, connected, and smart technologies to digitally transform industry.My focus is on architecting, designing, delivering, and securing Industry X Solutions, although I have been in many other groups in the past including Digital, Mobility, Technology, Communications & High Tech, Microsoft Solutions Organization - User Interface & Media Architectures, and the Global User Experience Group.I'm passionate about training our people and increasing our Delivery Excellence. I am a leader in our Industry X organization, am the South Delivery and Quality Lead which covers 15 states, and also lead our efforts to promote Delivery Lead, Solution Architect, and Master Technology Architect certifications. I’m certified in these programs, and am also a certified Quality Assurance Director.Accenture has allowed me to do a lot of cool things that likely would not have happened anywhere else. For example, with one project I got the opportunity to present to the United Nations in NYC and have also had many opportunities to present, keynote, or be a panelist at some major conferences including Microsoft’s MEDC, SAP’s World Tour, Sybase TechWave, Canada’s GTEC, Canadian Transportation Summit, and Kony World.
