      • Act as the Programme Coordinator and Planning Specialist of Somalia’s biggest early recovery, multi-donor, multi-partner Joint Health and Nutrition Programme (JHNP). • Carry out effective coordination and ensure partnership is developed with the Somali health authorities, donors, UN agencies and other stakeholders. • Provide support for the successful completion of all Joint Planning and Budgeting processes. • Support programme priority setting through facilitation of meetings, and guidance to partners including zonal working groups to ensure priorities remain in line with HSSPs and the consolidated work plan.• Provide routine/ad hoc monitoring of progress against consolidated work plan• Forecast fund disbursements and support the planning thereof with JHNP partners • Facilitate and coordinate standardized narrative and financial reporting from JHNP partners including provision of tools and templates. • Monitor and ensure adherence to JHNP SOPs through zonal and technical level sensitization and compilation of relevant meeting minutes and memos. • Monitor of key risks as indicated in the JHNP Log Frame • Support routine monitoring and reporting of value for money indicators by all JHNP partners outside of Log frame. • Coordinate any JHNP wide independent performance audits• Coordinate and facilitate routine coordination with 3 UN agencies, Technical Coordination Group (TCG) and Steering Committee (SC) meetings and compile/disseminate signed minutes• Briefing notes for Ministers, UN Agency heads, and Donor are prepared and shared on JHNP strategic issues prior to meetings • Make regular visits to Somalia to provide support to the working of Zonal Working Groups and follow on the implementation of Annual Work Plan actions Show less
