  • Led my team to release a new tool by organizing tickets, communicating requirements with the product manager and being the point of contact for any team member’s questions. The tool was developed in Jupyter Notebook and it made calls to microservices hosted on AWS ECS. This allowed non-technical people to train potential energy models that predict the energy production for stakeholders. Eliminated the need for developers to run ad-hoc scripts which saved four developer hours per sprint. Demonstrated the release in a companywide meeting. • Created and updated several gRPC endpoints, optimized one endpoint to be four times faster by making fewer database connections at the controller level using python.• Worked with the Data engineering team to build, maintain and test the back end for Clir's client facing Saas products and tools for internal users using python and Golang. Managed PostgreSQL database and other AWS services.• Conducted design review with multiple team members to build out a new feature that would generate benchmarks based on client’s historical data. Carried out investigations on database and code base to list the pros and cons of different solutions. Engaged in cross team communication and formulated detailed tickets for the team. • Learned and applied Terraform to help the company transition into writing AWS infrastructure as code. • Hosted knowledge share on an API layer for a major service to help onboard new members. Provided detailed UML diagrams of software architecture and a setup guide for running the service. • Recognized as “Intern of Merit” by Schulich School of Engineering. Show less
