      Feb 2013 - now

Employed full-time as a paramedic running calls in the 911 system in Yellowstone County as well as interfacility transfers. I continue to serve on the Federal Disaster Response team as well as the Wildland fire medical standby team. After working for two years in Contra Costa, I transferred to the Sacramento Valley Region operations. I spent the first few months working on a Critical Care Transport ambulance. I am now working full time in North Placer County on a 911 ambulance. I am also a member of the Disaster Response Team that responds to large incidents and natural disasters within the U.S. I worked the first 7 months doing mostly interfacility transports. I now work in the ALS (Advanced Life Support) division. We respond to any medical emergency in most parts of Contra Costa County. I also regularly participate in community outreach by teaching hands only CPR at public events.
