  I gave pastoral oversight to all of the church's missions and outreach partnerships on the mountain, in the city, and around the world.   I was responsible for all international partnerships with other development ministries and/or organizations in the communities and countries where the Circle of Light or Children of Hope programs of Community Uplift Ministries were operating, namely Kenya and Mozambique. I also shared responsible with the entire Community Uplift team to scope out additional opportunities and countries of operation.

  My responsibilities for ICM are diverse and dynamic, but focus on acting as a go-between ICM-USA and our international partners through partnership development and strategic alliances with like-minded organizations who want to expand the vision, mission, and impact of our in-country partners. Depending on the need of the individual country partner, I work as a liaison to help communicate expectation, mediator cultural misunderstandings, and provide a relational bridge for the best possible outcomes. This often includes assessing needs, determining best practices, and identifying the necessary support and resources needed to accomplish the agreed upon goals. This always requires a delicate position of listening and communicating through cultural differences and priorities. I also help with specific development projects as they come along and help by hosting African leaders when they pass through Colorado. Show less

  The Gathering at Roxborough

  Community Life Pastor

  I oversaw the community life groups and outreach opportunities for a local gathering of Jesus followers right here in our back yard of Roxborough, CO. Although the church plant folded in early 2013, many of the small groups and ministries are still active within our community, reminding me that the body of Christ is not contained in a building or its programs. It remains resiliently alive wherever two or three gather in his name.
