  During my tenure at POWER CHINA from January 2021 to November 2021, I played a crucial role as a Geologist/Geological Engineer on the DIAMER BASHA DAM PROJECT, The Project was a roller compacted concrete (RCC) gravity dam with a crest length exceeding1km and a maximum height of 272m. The reservoir created by the dam will impound up to 7,500,000 acre-feet of water with installed capacity of 4500MW.My major responsibilities and duties on the project include:1. Geostructural Mapping at tunnel and slopes2. Monitoring Excavation and Construction activities to oversaw the excavation and construction of tunnels, portals, and slopes using the drill and blast method (NATM), with meticulous attention to geological conditions.3. Rock Class Finalization for support Recommendations at site.4. Risk Analysis for over break, rock collapse, failure, and rock bursting, at weak zones5. Quality Control to ensure the proper placement of shotcrete, rock bolts, and wire mesh on slopes for stabilization.6. Collaboration with Consultant for work approvals.7. Safety Compliance at site.8.   Junior Geological Engineer

  Junior Geological Engineer at T5-Extension Hydropower Project, a joint venture of Two prestigious International consulting firms including Mott MacDonald London (MML) & Mott MacDonald Pakistan (MMP). The Project is entitled as ‘Construction of 1450 MW T5-Extension Hydropower Project by WAPDA, KPK Pakistan. During my tenure as a Junior Geological Engineer at T5 Consultant on the Tarbela 5th Extension Hydropower Project, my responsibilities and duties were instrumental in ensuring the project's geological and geotechnical integrity. Some of my Key responsibilities at the project are:* Conducted comprehensive geological studies of the project area.* Prepared detailed geological mapping, Geomorphological Mapping, scan lines, and geotechnical sheets for various project areas.* Offered guidance on rock classification based on the Rock Mass Rating (RMR) and Geological Strength Index (GSI).* Conducted geomorphological mapping at the switchyard area.* Supervised curtain grouting and consolidation grouting near the reservoir area, employing the GIN Method to control groundwater seepage and improve ground conditions for shaft tunnel excavation.* Supervised the installation of instruments such as surface markers, piezometers, and inclinometers to monitor site conditions.* Conducted Geological investigation (GI) works, including exploratory core drilling, logging, and standard penetration tests to establish the site's geology.* Checked and maintained project documentation, including Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs) submitted by the contractor. * Prepared daily progress reports, weekly dashboards, and monthly progress reports to monitor project advancements.* Maintained and updated the geological mapping tracker for slopes and GI works in alignment with Request for Information (RFI) numbers.* Collaborated directly with management and the field team to schedule control monitoring and reporting activities.
