  I worked in the small works division based in Toowoomba as an apprentice carpenter for 12 months to gain industry experience before studying full time at university. In this time, I developed a practical intuition, interpersonal skills and my work ethic in a physically demanding environment.

  At Tanuki, over my university holidays, my work was largely on the warehouse floor. I assisted in making charcoal briquettes and in preparation and packaging of a variety of fertilisers; among a number of other other ad hoc tasks as necessary.

  I worked as a trade assistant in a small team, primarily consisting of engineers and tradespeople, over my summer vacation. This work consisted of assembly, installation and commissioning of Pyrocal’s proprietary CCT plant among some administrative tasks in the office and other ad hoc task as necessary.

  Film Extra/Background Actor

  In this one-off role, I performed as a background artist/Extra over 2 days at the Gold Coast on the set from an American TV Drama. This experience served as an interesting insight into what was a foreign industry and I'd happily take another similar role in the future.

  In this role I engage independently with clients in a technical engineering and financial capacity.I have operated 3D scanning equipment and post processing software to develop site walkthroughs and accurate site drawings to client specification.Alongside this I have independently audited sites and developed spreadsheets that reconcile/consolidate existing financial and maintenance records with the information I collected around site.

  Over the 2022/23 Summer vacation I worked RioTinto-Alcan’s Mine and Refinery Technical Support team. In this role I was assigned a data analytics project investigating process conditions in the digestion process. Over the course of this project I developed and published two python packages; and communicated statistical and qualitative insights that can be used to drive better plant performance.
